Heathlands in Colour – Drawing with Pastels

Description:
This one-day workshop combines a guided walk around a beautiful part of West Penwith with an exploration of colour and texture, sketching with dry pastels. The guided walk can be booked separately as a half-day event, with the creative session carrying on in the afternoon. In poor weather the afternoon drawing will take place ‘in studio’ at Geevor Tin Mine.
Cost:
£5 (walk only) or £20 (all day) with a £2 per person charge for the village minibus to transport us to and from the site to prevent congestion at Bodrifty.
Meet:
at Lafrowda car park outside St Just library (SW 369 313).
Access is from the A3071, Penzance to St Just road.
Bring:
packed lunch, digital cameras, own art materials (or order them through the leader) & something to sit on.

Discover the rare plants, geology and landscape of this area and experience the unique Lizard heathland in glorious late summer colour.
Cost:

at NT car park, Predannack Wollas (SW 669 162).
Access is from the A3083, Helston to Lizard road, turning right to Mullion at Cross Lanes onto the Mullion Cove road and first left after exiting Mullion up Ghost hill to Predannack.
Bring:
stout footwear and waterproofs.
