Description:
Heathlands in autumn offer a spectacular palette of colour and texture to explore. Felt-making offers a comparable feast of colour and texture opportunities. Combine the two and you can’t go wrong! Create a beautiful wall hanging or felt sampler in one day. Open to all levels but suitable for beginners.
Cost:
£30 and all materials supplied.

at Botallack Count House. Access is from the B3306, St Just to St Ives road, 3 miles west of Pendeen (SW 364 336) or there is a bus from Penzance station to Botallack.

Illustrated Talk on the Archaeology of West Cornwall

Enjoy an illustrated talk about the development of the rugged landscape of West Cornwall and find out how the heathland here was developed by the action of prehistoric man over the ages.
Cost:
free but a donation is requested for refreshments at the end of the talk.

at the National Trust engine house behind Morrisons supermarket (SW 674 417). Access is from the A3047, Camborne to Redruth road, with the supermarket at the top of the hill on the LEFT after the mini-roundabout in Pool. [NB It is NOT at the first engine house that you see on the RIGHT].
