Marvellous Moths

Description:
See what we can catch in our moth traps tonight. There will be many resident and migrant moths to see and we may be lucky enough to find one of the giant hawk moths. Our moth expert will be on hand to explain how the traps work and tell us about the insects found.

Meet:
down the very end of the track at (SW 694 152). Access to the reserve is about 2 miles north of Lizard Village off the A3083. Going towards Lizard Village turn right at the "Wild Camping" sign and follow the (very bumpy) lane until you see the windmill.
Bring:
suitable clothing and stout footwear; bring a torch and something to sit on.

Shimmering Seas, Colourful Cliffs

Description:
Join wildlife personality Roy Phillips, and Elemental Tours guide Rory Goodall for a 3 hour guided walk across the far West’s glorious Maritime heath; passing some of Cornwall’s most stunning cliff scenery, with glimpses of seals, or maybe even dolphins and basking sharks. The area is renowned for its flowers, reptiles, insects and bird life.
Cost:
£5 adults, £2 children (suitable for over 10s only).
Meet:
at Porthgwarra car park. Return shuttle service available from Land’s End.
Bring:
packed lunch, strong shoes, weather appropriate clothing. Easy to medium going.
