Description:
A walk exploring the archaeology and history of one of Cornwall’s most spectacular areas of rough ground looking at how we can preserve this unique environment. We will look at a variety of archaeological and historic features, from the Neolithic Chun Quoit and nearby Iron Age hill fort, to enclosures of the former ‘commons’. We will also discuss how we find out about past environments, landscapes and their people.

at the roadside car park (SW 393 333) on the B3318 Pendeen road at the junction with the minor road to Trewellard.
Bring:
stout footwear and bring waterproofs. The walking is over rough ground, including steep slopes, and the route will cover approximately 5 miles.
